Changes to Permanent Orders

When one or both parties to a divorce or custody arrangement have had certain changes to their circumstances, the court can be petitioned to adjust the provisions of any permanent orders.

Such changes might include:

  • Changes in living arrangements, employment, or net income
  • Changes to family circumstances, such as marriage, divorce, or the birth of additional children
  • Noncompliance with existing orders
  • Neglect or abuse of the child or children in question
  • Relocation of one or both parents
